2/5/16
You are a deinhibitor.
You are a drug, my main addiction.
Your tongue like whiskey on my breath.
Make me loose yet free,
Vulnerable,
And upset.
Words abrasive,
Coercive and kind.
Your laugh like smoke in the air- intoxicating and mindnumbing.
Your song like a bird,
Promises of new places and love and life.
You are a deinhibitor.
Addictive but free.
Warm and safe,
A mind not yet traveled but I'm rowing upstream at pace.
An ocean of love and natural giggly highs.
A trust fall off the rooftop of the Empire State, never caught nor dropped,
Amidst a free fall I found comfort in being tossed by the wind.
Nothing to hold me back from fear or anger or happiness.
My sorrow wrapped up in your bandaged hands.
Your hands.
Your eyes their own ring of anything rolled.
Deinhibitor,
Drug,
Destruction?-
Not quite.
But close as you are love.
